Identity Workshop for Guys by Chris Yanuaria
As brothers in Christ, this will be an important time to discover more about the value you have as men in this world. Every young man has immense value, is brilliantly unique and powerful, and has a God-given calling upon his life. What defines a young man of God? Is it excelling in sports? Is it how popular one is with girls? Is it based on your looks? Is it what the world says? Let’s be solidified in the truth of who God says you are and who He has called you to be!
Chris’ claim to fame is that he is the first Krispy Kreme customer in the state of Hawai‘i. He loves doughnuts. When Chris is not waiting in line for hot glazed doughnuts he’s busy facilitating violence prevention workshops and trainings to students, faculty and staff at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He has a strong desire to help raise up the next generation of young men to discover their value and God given purpose in their family, work, church and the world. Chris received his Masters in Social Work at the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, with an emphasis in working with children and families. He also spent many years helping to eliminate the issue of human trafficking locally, nationally and abroad. In his spare time he enjoys reading, surfing, and of course… eating doughnuts.
