Press Forward in Faith: Embracing God’s Righteousness
Dear Friends,
What if this new year wasn’t about striving but about resting in who God has already made you to be? What if the breakthrough you’re seeking isn’t about doing more but about believing more?
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul reminds us,
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
This is not just a promise; it’s a declaration of who you are in Christ. The righteousness you long for isn’t something you earn—it’s already yours. Through faith, you have been made new.
The world will try to tell you you’re defined by your failures, shortcomings, and past mistakes. But God says otherwise. He calls you beloved (Ephesians 1:6), chosen (1 Peter 2:9), and righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Think about that for a moment: God doesn’t see your sin—He sees His Son. The blood of Jesus has washed you clean, and you stand before God blameless and holy. This truth is the foundation of our faith and the fuel for pressing forward.
Walking Boldly into 2025
Faith isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. Each day, God calls us to walk in His promises, trusting that He is working all things for our good (Romans 8:28). When fear or doubt arises, remember Philippians 1:6:
"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
This year, let’s commit to living in the freedom of God’s righteousness. Let’s refuse to be held back by the lies of the enemy and instead embrace the truth of who we are in Christ.
As we press forward, let’s encourage one another, build each other up, and walk boldly in faith, knowing we are already victorious in Jesus.
Cheering you on in faith,
Michele and team
