Pastor Alex Michel, New Hope Town

Alex Michel, senior pastor of New Hope Town and ordained minister of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel , has been involved in the Foursquare denomination for 20 years. He was a congregant and youth ministry leader at The Church On The Way under Pastor Jack Hayford, and became high school pastor and youth director for the church. He served on the National Youth Council under the National Foursquare Youth Director from 2004-2009. He was a member of the Directional Team, the Dean of Students and Director of Student Life at Pacific Rim Christian University, 2009-2011, and continues as an Adjunct Professor for the college in this season. He received his Masters of Divinity from The Kings University in 2011. He has served on the Ethics Committee and Pastoral Licensing Team for the Hawaii District Office from 2012 to the present. Alex is passionate about equipping leaders and shepherding the body of Christ to experience holistic discipleship in both inner and outer growth into Christ likeness. Alex has been married to his best friend and ministry partner Jennifer since 1994, and they have four beautiful children ranging in age from 20-8 years old.
